Overview
Welcome to EarDraw, an interactive web tool for exploring and customizing human ear shapes. Adjust anatomical parameters, visualize changes in real time, and experience sonification that maps ear features to sound. Designed for education, research, and creative exploration, EarDraw bridges artistic visualization with biomedical insights.
Whether you're a student, researcher, or designer, EarDraw offers precision and flexibility to explore the structural anatomy of the human ear. Use it for learning, prototyping, or simply for fun!
How to Use
- Use the sliders to adjust the ear's dimensions and curvature.
- Keyboard shortcuts:
- Arrow Keys: Adjust ear length (↑/↓) and width (←/→).
- Q/A: Increase/decrease lobule size.
- W: Adjust helix curvature.
- Space: Generate a random ear.
- D: Play demo animation.
- S: Save your design.
- L: Load a saved design.
- Enter: Download the ear as an image.
- M: Toggle sonification.
- Touch and drag on the canvas to adjust parameters interactively.
- Click the buttons to explore randomized shapes, save/load designs, or play a demo.
- Enable sonification to hear parameter changes mapped to sound.
Experiment with different settings to see how each parameter affects the ear's anatomy. EarDraw is intuitive and suitable for all skill levels.
Future Directions
